Conversations by Date — Dedicated Sub-View

The Conversations by Date sub-view presents a simplified, single-line view of total daily conversation volume without the channel dimension. This is the clearest view of raw conversation throughput across the selected period.

Figure 1: Conversations by Date — Total Daily Volume (Total Contacts: 27, Daily Average: 2)

1. Chart Details

Visualization Type: Single-line time-series chart. Color: Light blue. Y-axis: Contacts count (0 to 6). X-axis: Day of Conversation Date.

Header KPIs: Total Contacts: 27 | Average Conversations (Daily): 2

The chart reflects the same total volume as the “by Date and Channel” view (Section 19), but collapses all channels into a single line, making volume trends easier to read at a glance. The peak is 5 conversations on Wed 3/25/26, with a secondary peak of 4 on Wed 4/1/26, and a consistent low of 1 on most other active days.

The gap between 3/18 and 3/23 (no data points) reflects days with zero conversation activity in this staging environment — expected given the low-volume test nature of STG.

2. Filter Panel

Available filters: Date Selection Type, Start Date, End Date, Channel, Stage, Assistant, Business Day. Identical to the Conversations by Date and Channel sub-view (Section 19), with the Disposition filter does not present in this simplified view.

3. Business Value

The Conversations by Date view is the most straightforward view for volume trend reporting. It is ideal for executive summaries, weekly operational reviews, and trend reporting where channel breakdown is not required. The simplicity of a single line makes volume anomalies — spikes and gaps — immediately visible without distraction from multi-line complexity.
