Introducing MyESG Helper: Your Easy Guide to Your Company’s Sustainability and ESG Commitments

Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors are at the heart of how they do business, drive innovation, and lead with integrity. ESG performance influences investor confidence, customer decisions, and future opportunities.
To that end, many employees, customers, and clients may have questions regarding ESG. An assistant in iX Hello is a great way to have easy access to answers to ESG questions. Building the bot is very straightforward and simple.
How to create an ESG assistant
We’ve made the process as simple as possible. Just follow these steps to get started:

Up to ten Word or PDF files can be uploaded at once with a max of 512MB.
The upload should be completed after the bot is saved; however the documents and links should be prepared in advance.
When updates are needed, simply update the document and upload it again.
Locate the Assistant Builder section on the right side of the screen. Start by selecting the "Create Assistant" option to begin the process.


Fill in Basic Information
Provide the essential details for your assistant. These details are critical for ensuring the functionality and effectiveness of your bot:
Name: Choose a descriptive name that reflects the assistant’s purpose. For example:
"Support Assistant" for user inquiries.
"HR-Bot" for human resources tasks.
Description: Write a concise summary that captures the assistant’s purpose and the specific tasks it will handle. This helps users quickly understand its role.
Instructions: Define clear guidelines to direct how the assistant communicates and operates. These might include:[CS1]
Preferred communication style.
Response preferences.
Specific protocols for handling tasks. Providing detailed instructions ensures the assistant meets user expectations.

Set Access Controls
Once the assistant’s details are configured, establish access permissions to manage who can interact with it:
Private: Restrict the assistant for personal use only.
Specific Team: Allow access to designated team members, ensuring controlled usage.
This step is essential for maintaining proper visibility and security.
Tools
These tools are enabled by default, and are designed to help users perform specific tasks, and each one is accompanied by a brief description and a "Remove" button, so that users can customize or manage their toolset.

Search Online – For finding information via Google Search.
Browse Website – For retrieving content from a specified URL.
Generate Images – For creating images or artwork from text descriptions.
Calculate Math – For performing mathematical calculations.
Finalize Creation
After reviewing all the information, finalize your assistant by clicking the "Create" button. A confirmation popup will appear, confirming that your assistant has been successfully created. Now that it has been saved, you can upload your documents.
Test the Bot
Ask the bot the questions that were included in the documents that were uploaded. If the answers are not yet correct, the documents may need to be reworded or rephrased and then uploaded again. Continue until the answers are correct.
